Ceramic Tree Decor

The secret sauce to painting ceramic successfully is Slick Stick. It’s what allows paint to adhere and last, over ceramic glazes.

Prep The Ceramic

This festive green paint is English Ivy. After applying a coat, a simple toothpick adds texture to the branches and needles.

The Perfect  Vintage Green

With the partially dried coat of paint, use your finger to create the illusion of tree needles by dragging down from the top of the tree.

Add Dimension

Add Classic Baubles

A timeless combination is red and gold baubles. To maintain the bauble shape and size consistency, you can use the end of a paintbrush.

Finally, seal your vintage Christmas tree with two coats of sealer. Two coats of satin will create a subtle sheen.
