This painted cabinet had a thick layer of paint.  It's easiest to remove with a stripper rather than sanding when doing wood restoration.

Wood Restoration

So, if you have painted furniture you want to restore to natural wood? The best paint remover that I've found for a wood restoration project is No Nonsense.

Strip the Paint

The stripper makes the paint bubble up. But it still needs scraping away.  It's best to do this with a paper towel to wipe away all of the excess onto.

Remove Stripper

Once stripped back, restored wood needs refinishing. I used Hemp Oil on this cabinet. And hid  the wood-fillered holes with paint.
