This painted cabinet had a thick layer of paint. It's easiest to remove with a stripper rather than sanding when doing wood restoration.

So, if you have painted furniture you want to restore to natural wood? The best paint remover that I've found for a wood restoration project is No Nonsense.

The stripper makes the paint bubble up. But it still needs scraping away. It's best to do this with a paper towel to wipe away all of the excess onto.

Once stripped back, restored wood needs refinishing. I used Hemp Oil on this cabinet. And hid the wood-fillered holes with paint.
