This dresser was in good condition.  But I still got carried away covering every little scratch from its life so far!

Large Dresser - Before

The original plan was to restore the wood top. So, I spent many hours removing the old finish. I then changed my mind. But it was a fresh start for it.

Sanding Off The Finish

The knots in the pine risk showing through the paint if not covered properly.  I covered them with a shellac-based primer and the rest of the dresser with a water-based primer.

Priming Pine Wood

The paint I chose was the beautiful Goddess Ashwagandha by Fusion Mineral Paint.  It reminds me of the classic by Farrow and Ball, Elephant’s Breath.
